Meet: - Eleanora Lobb, the young nanny whose magic parasol channels the power of the legends she is so reluctantly destined to guard - Daedrys, who not only lives up to their legacy of "prankster knight," but also appoints themselves surrogate parent to anything that moves- Kite, who's doing his best. He's a druid who's never been outside, and his player decided that, rather than do research into Arthurian Legends to pick one, they'd just give their character no memories and let the DM decide. - The DM. A Funeral and a Fiend: Part 1

It's Tricia, here. Your DM.

Meet Daedrys, Eleanora, and Kite! I'm very proud of them. They're a rogue, bard, and druid, respectively. They're played by three of the most awesome people in the whole wide world (Adri, Paula, and Teagan).

Oh, and they're also all Camelot Legends, reborn into an altered-history-version of 1890's England.

If you've never heard of Taliesin, he was the original bard in King Arthur's court. His allegiance gave Mordred and Morgana's side an upper hand for a while, but he switched back near the end of Arthur's life and was entrusted with Camelot's Story. Rumor says that to this day his descendants are among us, whispering, renaming, and retelling- keeping The Story alive.

Sir Dagonet, meanwhile, was known as the "prankster knight," who had a habit of f*cking sh*t up and then, when people asked his name, proudly proclaiming, "I am Sir Lancelot of the Lake!" People were confused by this until someone theorized that Lancelot was his brother, and then it all made sense. Historians still don't know which of the legends that were attributed to other knights were actually just Dagonet messing around and accidentally being heroic on the way.

Teagan didn't want to research anything, so they made their character not remember anything from that life and made me choose who Kite is instead.

Muahaha.

But that's a mystery for another time. For now, there's 80 minutes of exposition to get to! Well, there's combat, too, of course. What's life without a few confused constructs and conjured portals?
